Christina
Blackman
is the Owner and Photographer behind Sweet Tea Reflections.
She was born and raised in the
beautiful mountains of Washington State. Christina received her
first 35mm camera as a gift from her parents when she was a
teenager.
Over 20 years ago, in high school,
Christina began studying
photography.
She later became a photographer for
the yearbook.
Christina learned to roll and
develop film, and create prints the old fashioned way, in a dark
room and by hand.
A lot has changed in photography
since the days of the darkroom.
Instead of her old Ricoh,
which she still keeps for sentimental reasons,
Christina now uses a high
performance Cannon Digital
SLR
camera.
The darkroom has been replaced
with state of the art professional software that allows
Christina to be more creative and make the most of your 100%
digital portraits. She works with her customers to design
original works of art that reflect their uniqueness.
Christina moved to Pensacola nearly
2o years ago and fell in love with the area. She has travelled
extensively throughout the US and abroad, always with her camera
by her side, always on the constant lookout for that perfect
photograph.
Christina is the mother of
three young children, and is a certified elementary school
teacher.
Her love of kids and her
artistic talent shines through in her unique Portraiture.
She has a gift as well as a
passion for working with children and the art of photography.
